Instructor in university sports

As one of the largest leisure and health sport providers in Thuringia, we – as a union of the university sport of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Jena University Sports Association – rely on a team of motivated persons who work as trainers and instructors in the sports business or as service personnel, the contact point for the interests of participants and members. As an instructor you can inspire others with your sport, gain practical experience and earn money. The quality of our offers on the one hand and your individual development are important to us. That's why, as part of the Unisport team, we're sponsoring you with a qualifying grant.

We are looking for you!

If you are interested in offering a sports course, please download the following form [pdf 434 KB]. Fill it out and send it directly to Paul Schubert.

For some areas we are also looking for instructors. Just visit the homepage regularly or even easier: subscribe to our Facebook Page!

Benefits for instructors

Training grant

As part of the commitment as a practice leader in university sports, we support you with up to 200.00 euro for the acquisition of the trainer licenses over a period of four semesters. Licensed instructors usually receive higher compensation as course leaders. Just get in touch with Paul Schubert.

German Red Cross (DRK) licenses

Things can happen quickly in the course: foot cracked, a small laceration. The university sports and the DRK Jena organize refresher and basic courses with a focus on sports injuries so that our instructors can react quickly and competently. The costs are borne by the university sports.

Trainers bonus

Active instructors receive a discount of 18.00 euro per season on a course of their choice. To receive the bonus, simply forward the course confirmation to Paul Schubert immediately after the booking.
